Drinking FREE sangria and playing retro Spanish and Mexican board games, cards and giant Jenga in Spanish - is there a better way to learn the lingo?

Learn your "serpientes" (snakes) from your "escaleras" (ladders) and fun banter to bring down your opponents as you race through Barcelona Monopoly, vintage Mexican board games and more in this fun, social Spanish lesson for beginners. The Stripey Spanish crew will get you speaking Spanish from the get go!

When? Wednesday 21 June, 6.30-9pm (lesson kicks off at 7pm)

Here's a glimpse of the magic

6.30pm Arrive order your FREE sangria and settle in with a mini challenge.

7pm Introduction to the lingo with a fun team activity.

7.40pm Get stuck into Spanish Snakes and Ladders, Spanish card games, Giant Jenga, Spanish Monopoly and more using your newly gained language skills.

Enjoy hot tapas and sangria in our mid-way break. 

8.30pm Show off your new language skills to the class with a team game and get feedback from the Spanish crew (the show-off bit).

9pm Go home with a vocabulary list the length of your arm ready to flaunt your skills at work the next day.

This Spanish night is designed to help complete beginners and those with the basics (less than a year's study) get to grips with some of the lingo. 

If you're an intermediate or advanced level speaker you'll have fun and practice your existing skills but if you want to leave with tons of new vocab you might prefer one of our events planned with intermediate and advanced level speakers in mind.
