(Upper beginner A2, Early intermediate B1)
How you will learn
- Converse in Spanish as you enjoy Either tapas (winter) or wines and cocktails (autumn). Conversation topics set by the weekly theme and video or podcast resource (Topic examples: Social justice, Lockdown experiences, music, short films, breaking the ice).
- Improve your pronunciation and confidence in speaking.
-Get a short film, documentary or podcast to explore before the night. Learn 15-20 new words listed per week through our app.
- Complete an activity pack at home before classes.
- Bring conversation questions to the session.
- Be accountable to the class and set your own learning objectives guided by our teacher and guide book self-study .
What we do on the night?
Share and celebrate self-study experiences and goals.
Get quizzed on the weekly vocabulary
Have a conversation on the video or podcast topic.
In between classes participate in our school wide Spanish group chat.
- Chance to attend additional monthly student social activities.

Students´ Basic Grammar of Spanish (Alonso Raya et al, 2016)
Spanish Among Amigos (Agulló, N, 2011, 2nd Edition).
Optional book: Practising Spanish Grammar (Pountain, C et al, 2011, third edition)
FAQs
What if I can´t make every class of the season?
That is absolutely fine. These are all stand alone classes so you can simply book the dates you can attend.
Can I change a date after booking?
Yes. All tickets are transferable to another date within the same season as long as we receive 48 hours written notice. One ticket can be transferred to the following season.
How long are tickets valid?
Tickets are valid for any date within the season that they belong to. One ticket can be transferred to the following season.
What is the level?
The level ranges from elementary six months of study to early intermediate of up to two years of study. You will work with people of different levels. You will get crib sheets for support.
Does the cost include food and drinks?
No the cost of food and drink is not included. You are invited to order food with the group and bring your own bottle.
How do I order food?
You will be given a link to order and pay for your food in advanced.
Why include food or drinks?
It’s a great way to build a more relaxed and informal atmosphere making it easier to build new memories.
