Join us a Spanish Night with a theatrical twist - a special night of theatre and language exploration designed for intermediate and advanced Spanish speakers.
In one amazing, immersive cultural night at the Cervantes Theatre you'll get speaking Spanish with the Stripey Spanish crew while you enjoy timeless Spanish theatre.
Watch the brilliant play "La Casa de Bernarda Alba" written by the iconic Spanish dramatist Federico García Lorca and participate in a Spanish micro-lesson to explore the script's rich vocabulary. Converse in Spanish with the Stripey crew in during the interlude and share your reactions in a private audience with the director after the performance. This is night not to be missed.
The level is designed for intermediate and advanced speakers however Spanish/English dual langauge scripts will be made available for purchase on the night for the bold beginner learners looking for an immersive experience.

5.45-6pm Arrive, register and settle in.
6-7pm Introduction to the lingo. Micro-lesson to explore key language and plot themes.
7.30pm Performance of the play begins.
8.30pm Enjoy a drink and Spanish conversation during the interlude before watching the second half.
9.30-10pm A private audience with the director to share your opinion in Spanish before a raffle.
