Summer 2026 immersive Charlar improvers - Salsa music and Latin social history theme

Wednesdays 6.30-7.30pm* Wednesday 19 August - 15 September, Camden ten classes, 12 hours

*except Tuesday 15 September 6.30-8.30pm.

In this friendly five-week class for improvers (A2)*:

• Learn and practise Spanish from salsa lyrics.

• Build confidence speaking in Spanish.

• Learn about Latin social histories of London.

• Get feedback from qualified teacher.

• App and worksheets to practise at home.

• Join friendly school socials or programmes in Spain.

Each class we sit together to explore a song with vocabulary and friendly conversation prompts. The final class is in an immersive walking tour exploring latin social histories in London.

Programme Breakdown:

Unit theme: Salsa music-themed conversations and immersive local Latin London historical walk around a London borough

Wednesday 19, 26 August, 2, 9 September 6.30-7.30pm and immersive historical walk Tuesday 15 September 6.30-8.30pm (5 classes).

Immersive event costs ALL INCLUDED (worth £30).

*We will practise language grammar as part of the conversation linked to the early stage of learning (opinions, reflexive verbs, present tense irregular verbs, the present perfect tense, direct object pronouns).
