We all have busy lives and sitting down for a couple of hours to learn a language can seem impossible. You don’t need to worry, try our handy tips to incorporate learning Spanish within your daily routine. 

Put your SatNav in Spanish

Be brave. Change the language of your GPS to Spanish and try to get to your next meeting. That very annoying Satnav voice will definitely get you remembering your left and right.

Embrace the Spanish mood by listening to Spanish tunes It won´t only cheer you up but also it will help you learn new expressions.  eg  select the ‘Latin’ section on Spotify - you will get a variety of Spanish music which will make the learning process great fun!

Are you one of those who always want to make the most of their time? Get informed about what happens in the world while improving your listening skills in Spanish. 

Invent positive mantras in Spanish

“Tu puedes con todo!” - you can do it all!

The first thing that comes to your mind when travelling to work doesn’t have to be something negative. Uplift your day by sticking Spanish optimistic post-its around you. 

Voiceover your everyday tasks

Try to say what you’re about to do in Spanish. For example, if you’re about to brush your teeth you can say, voy a cepillarme los dientes.  If you do this daily, you will be learning Spanish in no time.

Voy a darme una ducha… I’m going to take a shower

Voy a lavarme la cara… I’m going to wash my face

Voy a preparer el desayuno… I’m going to prepare/make breakfast

Embrace your road rage!

“Aprende a conducir, Gilipollas!" - Learn to drive, fool!

If you want other drivers to be really shocked while you show your annoyance at their bad driving skills, swear at them in Spanish!
