What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

This course is for beginners who have grasped the basics. You shoud be able to confidently create sentences in the present tense, recent past and near future, you should be able to change regular and irregular verb endings accurately in the present tense, understand how gender works and know some core vocabulary including parts of the body, places in a city, days of the week, months, colours, numbers 1-1000 and family members. 

What's the teaching approach?

The course is based on the communicative approach with a strong practical and social element. We also encourage meta-learning getting you to develop skills in how to learn a language and to be aware of your progress.

What's next?

After this course you'll be ready for Beginner Level 4 and 5. Please enrol as soon as possible as spaces cannot be guaranteed. After Level 5 you'll have reached the A2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
